The power of Pluto. The other one.

by Lora Starling | Nov 18, 2024 | ARTICLE, Future Magnets, Logo effects

I don’t really follow astrology that much, but there has been a buzz around the movement of Pluto (the planet) into Aquarius. It appears to have been bouncing around more than Pluto (the dog). After about 15 years in Capricorn, this planet will complete its final bounce into Aquarius on 19 November 2024 where it will stay for around 20 years.

As an Aquarian I am a bit interested but how important is this really? Astrologers tell us that Pluto (the planet) packs a serious punch by clearing away the stuff that no longer serves us, whether we are ready or not, and sets the foundation for revolution, transformation and long-term change. Known as one of the most foreboding planets, it holds the power of destruction death and the underworld.

I design logos. We always focus on the positive (much like the other Pluto). Who would invest negative values into their logo, which is designed to attract a desired future, a better life, happiness, beauty, health, profit and so on? Logos are so effective at this, we make the decision to choose a particular brand after a glance and if the sight of a logo triggers feelings of uneasiness in us, we don’t buy.

Each of us can prompt our own wellbeing by consciously designing our future, choosing what we want and letting go of that which no longer benefits us. Logos enable an expression of this intention, enabling it to be shared it in much the same way as successful brands attract us to the future of their choice. A logo of our own design enables us reach and trigger our own unconscious and attract our own future. We can design a logo for anything, for example to simply to cheer us up by using the same values in the other Pluto, he is fun, happy and friendly, what’s not to like or want?

It seems to me Pluto is on time and I am interested to use the effective power of logos to deliver the future I want and remove the focus from that which does not support it.

I’m ready for Pluto. Good boy Pluto!

The power of Pluto. The other one.

I talk a lot about the value of space as a place to explore the new. Whether that is the space between letters, buildings or on a stage it is the unencumbered dimension where we can create our imprint and add value to the powerful, often unconscious effect of our actions.

I attended a Leadership retreat with Louise Mahler a while ago. Louise coaches leaders, often women, to create and present clear statements so they become heard; the space they move in is a vital part in creating a successful presentation. I am now aware of the potential to reach an audience effectively so they become more fully engaged in what we say. (I am, subsequently, and with this new found knowledge, pretty appalled at the standard of most presentations.)

It’s not hard to distil and learn Louise’s techniques for effectively reaching an audience, and with practice we can employ them effectively. I found the most memorable, and perhaps the most relevant, was learning to manage space effectively. From considering the distance between our hands to nominating specific places to stand and deliver selected subject matter, we can fully utilise the three-dimensional space to strategically fill with our designated intentions. Engaging selected movement and gestures, we are able to take the members of our audience on a combined verbal and visual journey so the subject matter reaches beyond their ears into their eyes to triggers their interest. When our bodies and minds unite in a single purpose we can create anew.

By becoming conscious of our space, how we move in it and how we fill it, we can step into the unformed potential. The distance between the words we speak and the letters we write add to the effectiveness of our message well beyond the subject matter itself.

Off stage, how does Louise define her own space in the world? Her logo in tomato sauce red focusses boldly on DR; the space between these two letters is easy to manage. Her name is aligned, small and grey below.

Perhaps like the other notable ‘doctor’ Louise is creating her own Tardis on stage and hopefully it will take us to the dimensions we desire.

Of course we need to be clear on our message and what we want to create, but the way we choose to move through life including our awareness and management of space, the unformed, is how we evolve into the new. Everything else is taken up.

I expand more on the value of space consideration in my course Future Magnets: Identify and create the life you want. Find out how you could change your life here: https://bit.ly/4ayC3rv
