The Lung Official

The Lung Official is one of the Twelve Officials. Paired with the Colon it belongs to the Metal Element and is known as the Receiver of Heavenly Chi.

The Lung is the source of our guidance and our protection, and brings in the new, pure energy to fill the space left by the rubbish we have thrown away. When we are connected with this Official, we can reach out and trust and enjoy purpose and inspiration in our lives.

Inspiration of pure Chi exists on all three levels: the physical breathing in of oxygen, mental creativity, and spiritual inspiration, which give our lives a sense of quality and higher purpose.

If you are out of balance with this Official you may feel disconnected, desolate, and cut off from yourself and others. Look at what your purpose is in life, and reconnect with your spirit, your higher self, and your god, whomever or whatever that may be. When did you last exhale and inhale thoroughly to benefit fully from pure heavenly Chi?
