The Gall Bladder is one of the Twelve Officials. Paired with the Liver, and associated with the Wood Element, the Gall Bladder Official is known as the Official in Charge of Decision-Making and Judgement.

The Gall Bladder organises, coordinates, and makes our choices. These include what we eat and drink, how we spend our weekends, what we do for a living, and whom we choose as a partner or friend.

If the Liver is our diary, the Gall Bladder decides what plans are worthy of pursuing and then fills up the spaces accordingly ensuring all our appointments are kept, whether they are as simple as attending one meeting or maintaining the regularity of starting work on time. If we are unable to move forward, lack purpose, struggle to make decisions, or feel unsure of what direction to take, the Gall Bladder could be floundering.
