The Adventurer
The Adventurer goes forth to explore new places, striding from existing territory in search of the undiscovered. While the Adventurer is seen walking away, note that as we walk away, we are also walking towards. The staff carried represents that which we need in order to start our journey. Maybe it is courage, some sort of sustenance, protection, or reassurance.
We know that we need the Adventurer when we hear ourselves saying, ‘I really shouldn’t do that’, or ‘I couldn’t possibly do that’, or when we feel envy for someone else who seems to be doing something we long to do. This is the biggest hint that we are hiding our Adventurer.
The Adventurer strides forward with strength and determination. Fear is left behind, swept away by the cloak, leaving the focus on the future without a backward glance.
