Woodshed Falls
Key word: Direction
The trajectory of this water, with its numerous falls, was dramatically, and brutally altered years ago by miners seeking their riches in the gold rush days. Today, the water continues to flow beautifully regardless of the blasting that changed thousands of years of naturally evolving flow.
It moves past huge, displaced rocks with only a ripple to acknowledge their presence. The rocks are timeless, the flow is fleeting. As they meet, for an instant, they part in the knowledge that each is affected in its own time.
Whatever happens to change our direction we can adapt to the new flow with ease. We can find a way to relate to the new, to go around it, over it or divert. And as we allow ourselves to adapt to this new familiarity we can flow with ease in the new direction. Stand back and look at the bigger picture, to see there are shores that continue to guide our path.
