Falls of Dochart

Before the water arrives at the falls, it split by an island and re-joins just before the bridge where it experiences its own path, bouncing over rocks of angled granite and quartz boulders – some jagged some worn round.

Rock pools vary, some perfectly round, some triangular and others irregular; they all allow the water to rest awhile while the remainder rushes past to squeeze under the stone bridge to whatever lies beyond. Each molecule of water will have been transformed by its own journey as it flows around and over rocks, to and from the left or right of the island, into pools and out again. The changes will be carried downstream.

Like a consistent birth and rebirth each change presents us options and new opportunities with a choice of direction at each stage, it holds the potential of change in the future
