Grey Mare’s Tail

It was a long climb to get to the top of these falls in Scotland’s Moffat Hills via steps that merged into a winding path along the edge of a steep slope. At the lower level of the falls the water spread over the rocks before disappearing into the pool below to continue its more gentle flow onwards with the river. This cascade of spray and water formed the image of a woman sitting on the rocks at the bottom of the falls.

This white lacy female appeared to patiently wait for the water to create and nourish her, transforming every drop before it continued its journey towards the sea.

The Grey Mare’s Tail tells of feminine influence and the power of patiently, and simply, being.  In this state we allow the process of receiving and letting go so that we become the transformer. What we let go of, and how we let it go, gives the power to transform what follows to create the future change we want.
