Anasazi Stream

In Bandelier national park in New Mexico, alongside ancient Anasazi ruins, flows a small stream filled with the clearest water possible. It glides swiftly and effortlessly over the bed below, which glints with the colours of a peacock.  When the glinting grains are lifted out of the water they switch between a brown grey colour to flashes of peacock blues, greens and purples. They act like tiny chips of labradorite crystal and they must affect the water running through this most ancient site. It felt that this proximity was no coincidence and the long gone residents would have used this water to connect with a higher source to deepen their relationship with the Earth. By enabling the heavens to be present on Earth, this water closes the gap between a person’s soul’s purpose and their status on Earth so that they can remember and reconnect with their higher purpose.
